Privacy Policy

EE Toolkit ("the app") is developed and maintained by K. Lyvissianos ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it is handled.

1. Data we collect

The app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data by default. All calculations run entirely on your device with no internet connection required.

The following data is processed only when you use the AI Resistor Scanner feature (Pro users only):

• A photo taken by your camera or selected from your gallery is sent to a secure proxy server and then to the Anthropic AI API for analysis.
• The image is used solely to identify resistor color bands.
• The image is not stored, logged, or retained after the analysis is complete.
• No personal information is attached to or transmitted with the image.

2. In-app purchases

Pro unlock purchases are processed entirely by Google Play. We do not collect or store any payment information. Purchase records are managed by Google in accordance with Google Play's privacy policy.

3. Permissions

The app requests the following permissions:

• CAMERA — Used only when you tap the Camera button in the Resistor Scanner feature.
• READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / READ_MEDIA_IMAGES — Used only when you select a photo from your gallery in the Resistor Scanner feature.
• INTERNET — Required for the AI Resistor Scanner to communicate with the analysis server, and for in-app purchase verification via Google Play.

No permissions are used for tracking, advertising, or analytics.

4. Third-party services

The AI Resistor Scanner uses the Anthropic API for image analysis. Images sent to this service are subject to Anthropic's privacy policy, available at anthropic.com/privacy.

In-app purchases are handled by Google Play, subject to Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

5. Children

The app does not knowingly collect data from children under 13 and is not directed at children.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this URL. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
